Hypnosis: 3 ways to learn hypnosis

Several reasons to learn hypnosis

There are many ways to learn hypnosis and many reasons why you may want to know how to learn hypnosis. While New York hypnosis is that special category of hypnosis where things get done quickly, you can learn these techniques anywhere in the world. You may want to use hypnosis on yourself, and that would be self-hypnosis. You may be looking to help a friend or family member and just want to use it a few times. Or maybe you’re looking to make a career out of it. So you probably want to take different approaches for each intention.

What is hypnosis?

Hypnotism is the art of guiding a willing participant into a trance into which they are ready to accept new insights into the subconscious part of their mind. Hypnosis is the state of mind that its willing participant achieves. This article will explain 3 ways to learn hypnosis and my recommendation for a course of study based on your intention.

The first method: the cheapest

The first way to learn hypnosis tips is to read manuals on hypnosis and hypnotic technique. Here you will be able to get historical background on how hypnosis was discovered, how it was originally used, what it was called, etc. There is a lot written about the history of hypnosis. There are also many books on how to self hypnosis. Techniques on how to formulate suggestions are included in self-hypnosis books along with how to induce a hypnotic trance in yourself. If you are looking to learn how to guide another person into trance, there are books for that too. Manuals that will show you with words and images what to say, how to position yourself, what kind of answers you are looking for on your topic. All the important things you should know. After reading all these books, you will understand quite well what to do and how it is done, but you will have no practical experience in doing it and you will not have a real idea whether you are doing it correctly or not. Therefore, I recommend that you read as much as you can and then move on to the third way of learning if you really want to become a hypnotist.

The second method: a little more expensive

The second way to learn hypnosis is by listening to online trainings. There are many online courses on the web these days, and some of them are real time, others are registered. You can even find what are known as dedicated hypnosis training webinars. These ways of learning are a step above reading. In these types of trainings, especially live ones, you will generally have the ability to ask questions and get answers. This is extremely valuable as you will get immediate feedback and will be able to absorb the remaining information more completely.

The third and best method: the most expensive and the best value for money

The third and best way to hypnosis techniques is through practical training, either in a class or in an individual setting. Obviously, one on one would be the best because you will get a more intense training, sometimes even having the possibility of continuing with an internship program. However, one-on-one has its drawbacks. In a classroom setting, questions may be asked and answered that you may not even think of asking, but actually need to know. There may also be an interactive learning environment that will stimulate your own learning, as well as the ability to have practical application of the techniques learned.
